Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about our master artisan casting process, how our inquiry system functions, international delivery, and bespoke sacred commissions.
1. Ordering & The Inquiry System
Because our artifacts are master-crafted, high-value, and delicate spiritual items, we operate an Inquiry-First Model. When you add items to your cart and submit an inquiry, no payment is required. Our foundry team verifies immediate stock or casting completion dates, calculates exact consolidated shipping for your destination country, and emails you a detailed proforma invoice with direct secure payment links (PayPal or Bank Transfer).
Yes! Many collectors and monasteries prefer communicating directly with our export director. You can message us on WhatsApp at +977-9851086665 with the product codes (e.g.
HME37505) or photos of the items you wish to acquire. We will send you photos, live video previews, and prepare your invoice immediately.
If a one-of-a-kind statue has been recently acquired in our physical showroom, our master sculptors can cast another piece matching the exact iconography and dimensions. We will inform you immediately of the casting timeframe (typically 2 to 3 weeks) before you make any payment commitment.
2. Craftsmanship, Materials & Authenticity
Lost-wax casting is an ancient metallurgical technique practiced for centuries by the Newar masters of Patan and Kathmandu. A master sculptor carves an intricate bee's wax model by hand, encases it in refined clay and river mud, and bakes it until the wax melts away. Molten bronze or copper alloy is then poured into the hollow mold. Once cooled, the mold is broken open—meaning each cast sculpture is fundamentally unique.
We use genuine 24-Karat Gold. Depending on the masterpiece, it is either applied via traditional fire gilding (mercury amalgam gilding) or heavy 24K gold electro-plating, followed by hand-burnishing with agate stones. The faces of serene deities are hand-painted in cold gold powder and natural mineral pigments by master iconographers.
Yes. Our therapeutic Himalayan singing bowls are hand-forged by teams of four smiths beating red-hot bell metal alloy (traditionally representing 7 planetary metals: gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, lead, and zinc). Each bowl is acoustic-tested for sustained harmonics, multi-frequency overtone vibrations, and longevity.
3. Shipping, Tracking & Delivery
In-stock orders are dispatched from Kathmandu within 36 to 48 hours. Express couriers (DHL / FedEx) typically deliver within 3 to 5 business days to the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, and East Asia. Standard international shipments via Aramex arrive within 4 to 7 business days.
We employ our 5-layer preservation standard: silk face wrap, multi-ply high-density bubble cushioning, form-fitting thermo-foam cells, and a custom-built external pine wooden crate for statues over 12 inches. We maintain a near-zero damage record over 48 years of exporting.
As soon as your shipment is dispatched, we email you the DHL or Aramex tracking number (AWB). You can also track your order directly on our website using our Order Tracking Portal with your email and Order Code.
4. Bespoke & Temple Commissions
Absolutely. Our master sculptors frequently cast monumental deities (up to 8 feet / 2.5 meters tall) for monasteries and Buddhist temples worldwide. You may provide iconographic drawings, specific mudra requirements, or photos. We provide progress photo updates throughout clay modeling, wax chasing, casting, and gilding.
