Binayo

Binayo is a traditional musical instrument from the Kiranti culture in Nepal and is made from a type of bamboo called "Malingo". It is played by plucking a metal wire reed with the forefinger, which is gripped between the teeth.

Binayo is a wind instrument that is played by blowing air without tuning the node with fingers. The sound is produced by the air that is deposited in the lungs of the player and blown with balance. According to your description, the instrument is around 6 inches long and 1 inch wide.
